There are a couple of rating widgets for blogger for free. 5-Star Ratings, Thumbs Up-Down Ratings, Yes-No Ratings, 1-5 Ratings etc.
To my knowledge, there are 4 service providers to choose from.

Outbrain Rating
Many bloggers mention the use of outbrain plugin for rating. But, I never managed to get it working. As I understand, after installing the widget, you'd have to wait for some time until Outbrain's Indexing service detects your installation. No registration required.Polldaddy
Polldaddy provides mainly polling facilities. However, there is rating facility there. To access them, you have to have an account. Yeap, there's a free registration..or you can sign up with $200 per year or $899 per year for more facilities!. Unless you plan some major polling schemes, go with the free sign up! Also, note that free account has some limitations. I can't give you any guarantee that polldaddy free service will suit you if your site gets many hits. I said that because I have never used the service ;)JS-Kit
Well, this is another good choice. It used to provide very compact and nice rating widgets for free. But when I checked it few days ago, it's no longer the old service. It's now put under a company called Echo. Although JS-Kit users can still access the service, I don't think it accepts new users. What's more is this service is going to discontinue from 1st October 2012. May be a payed service will be put online..Graddit
Graddit provides nice, compact rating widgets for free. I'm using graddit 5-star rating here. There are no issues so far. So I can safely recommend graddit. There are plenty of choices to choose from and no registration required.Follow the instructions at graddit and remember:
